When Rorion Gracie began to tell the world about BJJ through UFC which he created, Rorion deliberately omitted the truth about his uncle Carlos, and his role in bringing BJJ to the Gracie family. So Carlos is barely spoken of when you talk about Jiu-Jitsu which is a Japanese art. Helio added some things but it's still Japanese Jiu-Jitsu with a Brazilian twist. Carlos Gracie is the Father of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Helio help revolutionize it but he is not the Father
