I totally agree with your last statement. War is a terrible thing and we shouldn't love war itself, but we DO love those who serve and pray they all come home safe.

@jimanHK in iraq it was freedom for iraqis from a despot dictator. in afganistan it is freedom for afgani women and children from the tyranny and oppression of the talliban. also the freedom for all of the western world against the incursions of islamic fundamentalism and hatred.

the west, and yes, that includes bankers, owes all of the soldiers who were/are there a great debt of gratitude.

we must also remember the suffering of the innocents.

@MLGKLAN did you see the picture at 0:45...I think I can guess what your teacher said....do you think you can live on the conscience images of innocent children who died without being able to defend themselves? they don't even know what is going on around them..
