All religions suck ass equally but it is nice to know the history behind this religion.

Thank you for this movie, i did not know he came from Arjeplog, that is near where i grew up. Just thought split dont have to be negative, only possitive if more ppl are affected by the Gospel of Jesus. God bless you.

Thanks for this info, do you have / could you do a video of Laestadian "rules" or more like beliefs they have?
Like 1/2 or 1/3 of the population in my village is old Laestadians. Usually they socialize mostly with each other, but now I have two Laestadian friends who occasionally hang out with my group of friends. I have discussed about religion with one of them (I belong in the casual Lutheran church and believe in God) and I know some things that they consider sinful and I don't, but not all.

For the record, "Lappland" only refers to one county in Sweden. It is considered rude/derogatory to refer to the Sámi people as "Lapplanders" or "Lapps". The Sámi don't have a country or national identity, but rather a cultural identity. Sápmi is also an appropriate term.

Hva heter den siste sangen i filmen? Er det en svensk eller norsk oversettelse av den?

Fine sanger du har i videoene dine:-)
Did I miss it or did you mention the ALC of America in your descriptions of the various branches? I did not see any of our churches. "As the Deer" is not in the big blue book. It is,

Thank you for the information about "As the Deer" and the big blue book.. ALC should be covered by pictures of some their churches in the film.
If not, I have to update my film.

The song is named "As the Deer Panteth for the Water" in English. When I made this film, I thought it was included in the ALC big blue hymnal, but now I know it's not there. The lyrics and melody is written by Martin Nystrom 1984, and is based on Psalm 42:1. The song is a quite common praise song and named "Som en hjort längtar efter vatten" in Swedish.
The other songs in the film are traditional and can be found in every Laestadian song book.
