What is more disconcerting than the false impression given that these kits are made in Canada, is the mark-up you allow your dealers. It is nearly 100% on the price you charge them wholesale. Extender wire for $50 is just one example - it's just a complete rort.

I saw nothing in that video to indicate that the BionX motors aren't made in Asia. You must have good eyes. Setting up some machinery for show doesn't mean it is actually used regularly, if at all.

What a laugh that was. A factory with no workers, no work going on and nothing nothing being manufactured. If BionX had their QC issues managed properly, it shouldn't be ashamed its components are manufactured in Asia. It doesn't matter where it is made as long as the manufacturing is controlled properly and conforms to specifications. There is no need to lie to consumers with fake factories which at best assemble. A little honesty goes a long way, unlike some of the BionX kits being sold.

Hello everyone. That factory is now close, and BionX use a new factory in Aurora, Ontario, on 455 Magna drive. That was a true factory, when BionX was small and was manufacturing very few part in winter. As you can see that video is not from yesterday, and we are not manufacturing more than 40 000 units a year. And yes we have some part from Asia, but BionX is manufacture in Canada and not in China. Why are you thinking that BionX is not manufacture in Canada?

Thats a fake factory! Bionx is made in indonesia. You can buy Bionx $1800 kits for $260

Sorry the BionX is really made in Quebec, Canada in a small and beautiful small town call Asbestos. It's possible to visit the factory, but do it quick, the factory is moving in Aurora in Ontario in August 2008.
