A Living Web Films Production.

"Across the nation, a new agrarian movement, centered on food and land health, is growing into a dynamic force. Led by youth (including the young-at-heart) and their mentors, this burgeoning movement is tackling some of the most daunting challenges of our time: food security, land restoration, conservation, climate adaptation, and sustainable prosperity. In the process, they are overturning traditional paradigms of conservation and agriculture. In this Conference we heard from a wide variety of new farm, ranch and conservation leaders and their innovative, hands-on ideas and practices that are changing the way we look at the land, our water, and ourselves." Courtney White, Executive Director.

Bryce Andrews - Ranchlands Program Manager - Montana

As the Clark Fork Coalition's Ranchlands Program Manager, Bryce manages a cattle ranch in the Deer Lodge Valley, in the heart of the nation's largest Superfund Site. He maintains a field office on the ranch, and works toward achieving innovative and environmentally sustainable land management practices on deeded and leased land. When he's not handling daily tasks such as herding cattle, fixing fence, and making hay, Bryce works on community building and outreach related to Superfund Cleanup in the Deer Lodge Valley and posts a blog on the Clark Fork Coalition website. Bryce comes to us with experience ranching in the Madison Valley, on the doorstep of Yellowstone Park, where he worked on finding a balance between the needs of livestock and wildlife. He holds an M.S. in Environmental Studies from The University of Montana, and has written freelance articles for environmental magazines and journals.
