What Werner says here is so beautiful, I like seeing videos of him where he shows his sensibility. I always portray him in my head with such strong, harsh manners, but when it comes to this very vulnerable, pure, even, child-like personality, it's so nice to see!

The other Werner, well Rainer, looks really depressed on here. I wish he was still alive today to make more of his films and talk and inspire the youth. So truthful, so honest and realistic, so beautiful in that respect. Just like his cinema...

aThe ugliness of a harsh reality tinged with beauty and truthfulness. I wonder what an interaction between these two enfants terribles of German cinema would have been like. I wonder if they got on, or was it a love and hate relationship like it was with Kinski, another character... I'm sure it couldn't have been, but I so wish they were friends and could even make a film together, Imagine that!
