My yellow belt test. Actually, these throws and pins are the basics of judo. They aren't that hard to perform, and since I spent weeks preparing for the test it was kinda easy. But I was a bit nervous :D
And yeah, I know the quality SUCKS but it can't be helped.

  • how long have you been training for at the time of this video?

  • @skeeter42069 For about 4 or 5 months.

  • Good job on the techniques...and I'm assuming that you got your yellow belt. Congrats bud...no doubt this is just the beginning of a distinguished judo career. :)

  • @andell1 Thanks, I love judo so I'll try my best :)

By the way, at the end of the video the instructor is pointing out that I did all the techniques to the right, but De Ashi Barai to the left. He said it was good though (he is using the word "perfect" :D). So yeah, I got the belt.

  • Im interested in starting a new martial art, but im stuck on deciding between judo and Jujitsu (japanese) , and since im going to be cross training (kung fu) , what do you think would be better

  • Y U NO come to training anymore :(

  • @fernandez1020 And all your doing that was are white belt test but we had way more things to do it was like 30min each person

  • My judo teacher were only yellow belts but what he does is he teaches us all the yellow belt trows then he shows us like blue brown and black belt trows

  • My instructor wants me to start testing in judo under him...I've been doing bjj for about a 1.5 years and just had my first amateur mma match a couple weeks ago....my instructor isnt going to test me on the ground techniques because I've been doing bjj and says its more than good enough and to not worry about it....my instructor is a purple in bjj, 6th degree in judo and a 7th degree in japanese jiujitsu

  • @bigdog8397 Grading syllabus got changed since Great britain got beat at the Olympic Games - its not necessary to 'fight' for belts anymore, focus is now on pure technique. (From the BJA website) "Promotion within the Kyu grades is based on technical knowledge and understanding, together with Japanese terminology and supplementary knowledge. There is no contest requirement in the Kyu Grade syllabus however there is a progressively structured Randori element at the higher grades)"

  • @mas22227777 He is training, thats how one learns. No one is proficient in a MA in 4 months. Give the man some credit.

  • this looks boaring, no life looks like he is just going through the motion, how are to learn if your going so slow pick it up a little.

  • I just love Judo! Once your get your black belt. I recommend you move on to a striking art. Boxing,Karate or Tae Kwon Do. To become a well rounded fighter.

  • @bigdog8397 being a good uki
