  • it shows how uneducated they and some your you posters are, airbags go of not at certain speed, but when the shock will reach certain intensity.

If you hit block wall at 15 mph they might go of, but it will take more speed something that give.

And no u donot have to hit right on the sensor, just the frame, sensors are behind steel bumper(facing radiator), or on the sides of radiator support.

  • thier using a neon, wheres this perfectly good car

  • run the dog over!!!

  • typical dumb shit that stupid white people do.

  • ha just take out the seat with the car on haha they will go off

  • I'm surprised the car still has paint on it. It is a Neon by the way. Must have been repainted.

  • there are a number of things that need to happen before the computer will set off the airbag. they could have saved alot of time and set it off manually

  • @exalteddeed6 I did the same exact thing, hit a deer going 45 but the airbags didn't go off, kinda thankful actually

  • dude ... i think i know where this is!

  • i hit a deer at 45 with my neon and all it did was pop the headlight lens off and did not set off air bags so yes it all depends on your speed and how much damige there is done to the car when struck in the front or rear.

  • probably cuz it was already wrecked. yes the secondary sensors weren't set off deploying the airbags but the primary force sensor probably was. there is a sensor further back than the front bumper for the airbag. it has to be set off before the secondary impact sensors will deploy the air bags. either that or there just isn't enough force against that rock or whatever to activate the primary force sensor.

  • I have seen a 96 Neon Air Bag deploy after bumping into a wall while parking.I have also seen the same year Neon hit a object at 35mph and the Air Bag did not deploy.....both I witnessed in person...those Neon's are a crap shoot
