Hey! This happened to me except that my sunroof cover opens only halfway. Did you find how to do fix it?

My car has the same problem. Im looking and I think you would need an auxiliary fan motor for your sunroof.

I don't brag about it, but lots of people complement the car. It's extremely nice and I try to keep her in Tip Top shape to give the brand the name it deserves. BMW's are HIGH Quality. This is a 12 year old car... and a plastic clip broke. I can completely understand that. I fixed the problem for FREE. NO MONEY WASTED. =-D
