excellent rebuttal. Hands down.
Someone posted to the original video asking if you could post some video from each of the cameras so that we can see the differences. I know that each camera will film differently depending on various factors (lighting, etc), but for someone on the ropes between cameras (like me) it might help. Keep up the excellent work guys!

I am looking to make music videos and short films, as well as take photographs. The Canon 5D MK2 has thus far been the best camera that I have come across for this with research. Does anyone suggest another??

i was going to buy a hvx200. and im hearing that it doesnt use dv tapes. is that true?

If you are shooting high definition video, then no, it cannot shoot to a mini dv cassette. This is the major reason why some shooters are hesitant to adopt the camera as readily as they should. There is no backup of your video if there is a storage problem.
