On the fastest train in the world, if a passenger were to stay there constantly on a moving train, would time- even in miliseconds- go slower for him than regular people outside?
-
the correct speed is 7.5 mph
-
100 km/h . miles is for sissies!

I've ridden Amtrak several times between Texas and Arkansas and most of the 18-20+ hour trip is spent pulled over waiting for freight trains or parked at a station. I would ride it more often if it would average this kind of speed.
-
Well I get 109 f/s which is 74.4 MPH, but close enough! lol

That takes your breath away when you're on the platform! Even more if you're standing at street level.
That thing was booking! Kids, now don't drive your car in front of one of these or ya gonna end up dead.
You know, they should show footage like this in driver ed. Maybe they do now, not when I took it. Show this train where it instantly demolished the car. Hopefully lives would be saved. At least those kids probably didn't feel much. But they're dead.

Thats about 105-110mph

@Yonkage damn can you teach me math

@JetMechMA or Train à Grande Vitesse. It's French. But you probably know that and you were just joking around
The rail cars are about 65 feet in length, and this train had nine. It passed by the camera completely in about 5.5 seconds... Adding in some extra length for the couplings, that's about 600 feet, in 5.5 seconds, or roughly 110 feet per second. Or 396,000 feet per hour.
That comes out to PRECISELY 75 mph. How about that!
