@goldberg50 Not sure if it's true but I heard that Luger was actually booked to win the belt in the first match but drunkenly told someone in a bar (who turned out to be a journalist for a newspaper) that he was booked to win it. Not sure what would have happened in the second match had the planned events took place.

Great moment but Hart should have put Yoko in the sharpshooter to end it.

hard to believe that rodney anoa'i(yokozuna) was only 28 years old when this match took place

@antsman88 Actually, the story line was that he had a concussion from getting hit with Luger's metal plate in his forearm, causing him to get dizzy and lose his balance. It was a storyline used to have Cornette bitch that it wasn't fair to give Yokozuna 2 matches in one night, so he can get a rematch. However, it never happened. They didn't want to bury Yokozuna. They wanted to keep him as a top monster heel.

@YoungGrizzly82 How can you call this ending the best WM ending?? Yokozuna slip on the top rope and Bret covered him. I'm happy he won but that's sort of Anti-climactic
