In today's videocast, journalist David Seaman gets "stood up" by 2012 presidential candidate Buddy Roemer (actually was just an innocent scheduling error, we plan to reschedule with the Governor!!), discusses the media bias and blackouts harming Ron Paul's chances, the media's love for Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, plus updates on SOPA -- and why isn't anyone taking Obama to task for signing indefinite detention into law!?

  • Obama already made a signing statement on NDAA. I assume he'll stick by that, e.g. "trust your gov't; you'll be fine."

Obama lied about closing guantanamo, about renewing USA-PATRIOT Act, He lied about tax breaks for senior citizens, he bailed out the banksters, he said his first priority, if elected would be to bring the troops home, starting day 1. He has promoted and advocated for TSA.

He is now bringing us to war with Iran, and when China and Russia interfere, we will all lose. What for?

  • This is one of the best videos about this topic I've seen. More people really need to see this.

  • @sinceilostmytooth I'm all about the issues, their priorities, their history, the angles of each position, good solutions and their scope and consequence. I'm also about looking closely at a candidate's track record. That is why I am voting for Ron Paul - He has the issues nailed, has good solutions, and has a great track record.

  • David! Please point me to some reputable sources of news! I'm finding that mainstream media is failing to report on issues that I feel strongly about, and would love to here what sites you might know that I could add to my daily repertoire of reading.

  • @dhtmlkitchen Except when we come together as a people and voice our frustration as a whole. Case in point the recent SOPA outrage.

  • @JoshReflek They mostly let you vote on things that don't matter that much. Things like internet censorship, war, are out of our hands.

  • @dhtmlkitchen I guess I learned some new things today. I can't say I'm won over, but I'll look more into it.

  • Thank you

  • Youtube this:

America: Freedom to Fascism-Full Length Documentary

It is lengthy so if you haven’t the time to view it in its entirety please begin at 1:11 then watch the whole thing at your earliest convenience.

  • The media and president are doing what Rockefeller and company tell them to do

  • NDAA is effective March 1st, 2012. Please correct me if I am wrong.

  • @uyworldtraveler Obama, sounding eerily like GWB in 2010, reifying his promise “But make no mistake. We will close Guantanamo prison” Later that year, he had US citizen Alwaki & his son murdered. In Mar 2011, he gave indefinite detention for the captives still at Guantanamo, announcing "several steps that broaden our ability to bring terrorists to justice". And then on Dec 31, 2011, he signed NDAA for indefinite detention of Americans.
