I beg to differ. Surgery is not a solution to migraines as it does not address the underlying crux and surgery develops secondary complications. An upper cervical vertebral subluxation is the cause of a migraine. Second, addressing pressure points is only addressing those areas of that one feels pressure as a result of inflammation and tension caused by an upper cervcial vertebral subluxation. Chiropractic upper cervical adjustments are the cure for a typical migraine.

Name of the chiropractic equipment? Upper cervical specific orthogonal. Every DC is taught and utilizes an upper cervical specific technique in their office. You may not recognize it when it happened. This machine helps one to be more precise.

I recieved my DC from Life Chiropractic College and trained on the upper cervical specific (UCS) orthogonal machine in the mid 1980's. First: the UCS orthogonal adjusting machine isn't a piece of "medical equipment", it's "chiropractic equipment". Second: it was developed at Life Chiropractic College (Life University, Marietta Ga.) in conjunction with the physics department at Georgia Tech. Chiropractic UCS techniques have been used for nearly 120 years and now finally seeing the light of day.

Yes Upper Cervical Chiropratic is REALLY different than full spine chiropractic. This is also Advanced Orthogonal Techniques and Procedures not Atlas Orthogonal.

It is very different from conventional chiropractic. The others I've been to are fairly unscientific and random in their approach, and you continually need to be readjusted. Atlas Orthogonal is a very precise, mathematical correction. Very gentle, and immediately I felt warmth surging past my ear to my brain as blood flow was restored. My recovery from headaches was immediate.
