Bersih 2.0 Malaysian Heroes 9 July 2011

On 9 July 2011 about 50,000 Malaysians of all races and from all walks of life took to the streets of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to demand free & fair elections. Bersih a coalition of 60+ NGOs was supported by the opposition Pakatan Rakyat. The entire force of the BN government controlled media and the police force were used to subvert the demonstration. Despite this the people of Malaysia triumphed. Demos were also held in Sydney, Melbourne, London, Hong Kong, New York and other cities around the world. This is a public service video.
