Mark Howe speaks the truth. back then when rules were less strict, guys could make hits that would easily get called today, and you had enforcers and tough guys who establish justice and an unwritten code of honor on the ice. tough guys who intimidate the other team, protect and back up their own, and go after guys causing dirty trouble. now the NHL has been reduced to where so much pressure is put on refs to instill order and everyone gets away with cheap shit all the time. impeach, Bettman plz

@sidOVkessel87 No, when did he say those guys shouldn't be on the PK? He's talking about Connolly 'cause he's made of glass and knowing his luck is probably gonna get injured blocking a shot. Also, its not like Connolly is a good penalty killer, the idiot Wilson has no reason to put him on the ice in that situation.
