I got the idea to make this song after my Pastor told me the story behind one of Clint Browns other songs (if not for grace) he told me that he was sitting at home when Pastor clint brown called him and he said "Hey pastor Brian get over here" then hung up the phone so Pastor Brian rushed over there and when he got inside Pastor Clint was rocking in his chair infront of the television now Pastor Clint earlier in the day had told Pastor Brian to cancel his plane reservations (pastor Brian was mad but he did) when Pastor Clint had called Pastor Brian over to sit down infront of the TV he said look and the very same plane they both were suppose to be on had went out of Radar range and out of contact they then heard that the plane had lost cabin pressure and they crashed into the side of a mountain Pastor Brian and Pastor Clint looked at each and Pastor Clint walked over to his piano and started to sing the song "If not for grace" you don't have to believe me but ask yourself this why would i lie about this story?
