  • First I would like to apologize for the misunderstanding of the third verse. I knew Charles well we were classmates and buddies post graduation. I am very knowledgeable of the angelic presence he had while he was on this earth and it shall forever live on but I appreciative you putting this up in order to enlighten others about this precious soul. For clarity the third verse was written for the ill that plague others within our society. Especially in my generation, each verse served a purpose.

  • thank you for this great tribute

  • @Nephcure thank you. i will contact you.

  • The NephCure Foundation serves patients and families with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), a rare kidney disease that disproportionately impacts young people – especially African Americans with a west African lineage. As we understand it, Charles had FSGS. We are so sorry for your loss and wish the family well. We are there if you need us.

  • Thank you. Charles' friends, you including, are conscious people, aware of social ills. Continue and perserve with your creative, progressive, constructive, and positive attitude. Peace!

  • Re-listeneing to your last verse. I just to clarify Charles'cause of death. He had an illness called focal segmental glomeruloscerosis. He was in remission for 6 years and lived to the fullest surrounded by his loving family and amazing friends, never spending a day without dance or laughter. He also was also persuing his education and had clear a clear plan for his future. He always kept a positive attitude toward his life and the lives of others.
