Yes. I sold my old 1991 Model 1, which I had picked up 2nd hand in 2000, for £3,600 after Stefan phoned me and said he had a guitar that he thought would suit me. I tried it at his workshop, and borrowed it then did the "you can't have it back" thing. I Quickly sold the old guitar, bought the new one and put a scratch plate on it as I always do. It is an African Blackwood MS model with Italian Spruce front and rosewood neck. Very dark sounding and great to play.
