Braces-Lower Expander install

Oh its so much fun and it hurts like **** today. No idea what i will do about headgear just have to wear it as much as i can for now.
Unless you got a better idea could you wear it to work..?

@TrueBlueAustralian how much has this cost you and are you paying for it privately or getting it done under the national health scheme? I have had this problem for years and I have been fobbed off by so called proffessionals that lower braces are never heard of, what a ...........lie. I live in UK and can't afford the private treatment, does your orthodontist know anyone in UK who could help me under the NHS?

i have an upper expander and headgear and my girlfriend tied me down and put my headgear strap on hole 7 on both sides and turned my expander 8 times it hurt like heck

i have a expander on the top of my mouth and i have to keep it in for 6 months then i will get one on the bottom.

it took me some weeks to get used to eating and talking with my top expaders

but i'm wondering:

- are the bottom expanders harder to get used to?

-is it harder to talk and eat with it?

- is it visible when you talk?

what i wanna know is if it's the same as the top ones or if it is harder to deal with :(
