Pistol Gripping Posture

I commend you on the quality of your video.
Not a fan of your grip technique though, I have been taught to have your strong hand thumb as high as possible on a 1911 on top of safety pointing at target, and your support hand wrapping around the top of strong hand with thumb below strong hand thumb pointing towards target. Thumbs resting not squeezing. What works stick with though.
Remember people dry fire until tour fingers hurt and no does not hurt center fire firearms. Rim Fire .22 big No No!

i am bound by my morals to tell you that your grip is all wrong.... u can get a high grip on the gun and thus enable you to manage the recoil better..

If you want to see proper positioning for shooting a pistol just look up some of Todd Jarrett's youtube videos. The man is so good it's ridiculous.

ya the only thing that i was concerned was if they were squeezing instead of just resting there...but if you say it works for you then i'll leave you alone, lol
I have to agree with GlockThis on his thumb technique...and dry fire practice is an important part of getting the right hold and shoot out of your handgun

That thumb posturing doesn't work for me, especially for my subcompacts. Sorry. The way I do it creates a firm grip and I can still outshoot most people at the range.

That doesn't affect modern pistols. You can dry fire it all day for practice if you want.
