Scottish Tradition : Two More Pipe Tunes

These tunes are played by the 1st Battalion The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.
The music for The Sands of Loch Bee can be found at realviperpiper.com (with a midi file also available) and a clip can be heard on the website of allcelticmusic dot com
(as played by "The Sensational Jimi Shandrix Experience."
The music for "The Road to Gerinish" can be found in the collection of Capt. John A. MacLellan M.B.E. "Ceol Beag agus Ceol Mor (Little Music & Big Music)" and can be bought from the website of aberdeenbagpipe dot com. It is also listed sometimes as "Lt. Col. S. Gair." Gerinish is a village on the west side of South Uist, just north of Loch Bee and lies just west of the little hill of Rueval where the MOD built a missile tracking station which you can see in some of the photos.
My dad claims these tunes were composed by his youngest brother, my uncle Andrew
who served in the Queen's Own Highlanders for many years.
