On our continuing series on the infamous wagalla massacre, "death in the desert" we heard from 2 members of the National Intelligence and Security Committee as constituted in 1984, Bethuel Kiplagat, the then Foreign Affairs Ministry Permanent Secretary, and his counterpart in the Ministry of Home Affairs, David Mwiraria. They both gave contradicting statements as to whether the National Intelligence and Security Committee held a meeting in Wajir on the 8th of February 1984, less than 2 days before the wagalla massacre occurred. In this 4th part of our series, senior anchor Belinda Obura, prods the two former pss further.
HE Kiplagat., most Somalis consider you as a hero and a great friend. If you know what really happened in that meeting and who ordered the massacre, please be a real MAN, speak up, tell the truth to clear your name for good. Thanks!

Bethwell Kiplagat, the death of thousands of people in Kenya amounts to “Not one of those THINGS that really became a major issue?” I hope that statement was taken out of context in this particular case, otherwise you are a bona fide SHIT.
