Organic has MORE FDA, EPA and USDA restrictions than conventional farming. For example, manure fertilizers must be composted in organic for a time period to reduce harmful bacteria, but conventional has no restriction and apply manure and sewage sludge(not allowed in organic) whenever, with no regard to bacteria.

Not only does organic have to pass FDA and EPA but organic has to go through MORE restrictions by the USDA than conventional food. For example, organic farming has a time restriction on how long a manure based fertilizer must be composted, reduceing the risk of harmful bacteria. Conventional has no such restrictions.
