why is it whenever i send my sub to attack a ship it immediately decides to go deeper than periscope depth and turns the opposite direction?

yea i know it was hell wasnt it, well now i can look foward to battlestation pacific and pacifics beta was Awsome! cuz in pacific torpedoes are actually worthy of being called "effective"cuz now they are twice as fast and do more damage.
