For internet sharing for Windows:
1. Go to Control Panel, Network and Internet, Network and Sharing Center
2. Under Change your networking settings, click Set up a new connection or network
3. Select Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network
4. Enter your Network name, and enter a Security key if wanted
5. Check the box for Save this network and click Turn on Internet connection sharing on next page

ahhhh, so u hooked up your cell phone to your computer to tether it via usb from the cell phone, then turned your MAC into a hotspot via wifi…. really..?? What a waste of time…

I think your PC need to be the source of connection. Your PC now is getting the connection from the router. However, if you use internet, for example, with a 3G modem, in that way you should be able to share your pc internet connection as it's going to be the source.
