Channel 7, Brian Hackney - Parkfield and Earthquake Prediction...

In 1990, Channel 7 KGO TV included a special science segment of their newscast with Brian Hackney as the reporter. This particular report featured the story of the Parkfield experiment where the earthquake engineers have been waiting for a large earthquake to occur due to what seems to be a M6 earthquake pattern of roughly 22 years. They were expecting one to occur in 1988. The Parkfield area has many cameras, sensors, and tons of other special equipment there on the ready for when this quake occurs.
