Filipino Folk Song- Manny dela Rosa Flute

I was bidding my time in the mall when I luckily saw this performance.

He's playing w/ the smallest flute in the world and he does it with style. The sound is much better than here and I'm sorry this is not really of quality video.

His name is Manny dela Rosa. The likes of Levi Celerio had watched him before and Levi even proposed a tandem (with his leaf playing) but he died before it happened.

He only started playing when he was 62 and that's when he discovered he can play by the ear. He never had a musical background nor a musical inclination before that. It's never too late for everyone.

He performs for free :)
