He attended Interboro HS played football, basketball and track and field, All-Delaware County. He won the District I (Philadelphia) championship 4th at State. Papale attended Philadelphia's Saint Joseph's University on a scholarship winning at Madison Square Garden, placing at Middle Atlantic Conference Championships...
