The families of Stephanie Sprang and Tina Herrman didn't want to give Hoffman the death penalty because they wanted him to suffer in prison for the rest of his life so he would be constantly be tortured by the thought of what he did to these inicent people. sarah was one of my best friends and i still cry about how i will never see kody or tina again. i love you sarah <3 my prayers are with you and your family! <3

this is horrible, i cant imagine what it must feel like. My prayers and feelings go out to Sarah and her family. And they should seek the death penalty in the harshest way for that freak, bring him down to texas and we'll do it for free!!!

@MsSeeker43 I wanted to send Sarah a sympathy/Christmas card. It has to be hard facing Christmas after losing her family. I couldn't find a PO Box to send cards. I stopped at the Sheriff's office for info. The receptionist wasn't real sure how to get a card to Sarah. She told me to try a lady with the Victims Assistance program, that she might be able to get a card to Sarah. People sending cards isn't common. How quickly people turn their backs on someone suffering. How evil, but good people?

@doctorbrae The death penalty was removed from the table in exchange for him telling the location of the bodies and him agreeing to plead guilty. If he appeals, the death penalty returned. He had 30 days to file an appeal - he did not. Our tax dollars get to support him for the rest of his life.
