Mayor Richard M. Daley today, along with Alderman Ed Smith, representatives from the Public Building Commission, Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Park District and members of the community, officially dedicated the new Campus Park at Marshall Metro High School, 3250 W. Adams.
The new $10 million ten-acre campus park, built by the Public Building Commission, is equipped with soccer, football and softball field. Other amenities include a running track, ornamental fencing, benches, additional parking and other landscaping.
The Marshall Metro High School campus park was funded by the City of Chicago, Chicago Park District and Chicago Public Schools.
