Granted Grace ain't the great Ann Wilson. But Ann stood & sang this (as she did everything else) like she was doing a high school operetta. Now, cut her evening gown off at the crutch, drag her behind a Hammond B-3 and make her try to play as she sings, then drag her back out to center stage, make her prance, jump & play tambourine, all in time, as she sings, dances and stays in key. She would have to be led away on tranquilizers. Ann Wilson is one-of-a-kind. But she ain't no Grace Potter.

Grace is amazing, but nobody touches the super-human Ann Wilson, the greatest singer of all!!!

@chosenfool Oh, forgot the sex symbol part. Grace does it because she can. Ann? Dunno. Grace has her critics over the short skirts and dancing but, she doesn't just spread her legs and squat, bump & grind, etc. (the Beyonce' schtick that everyone does). In fact, she never does the sex-just-for-sex thing. Come to think of it, Grace isn't Adele either.

@chosenfool Grace learns enough to get by on the keyboards to do the songs. Not sayin' she's a great player (neither was Ann). Still, Grace does it every show (along with the acoustic and electric guitar). And, Grace sings, prances, poses, twirls, struts, growls, moans, screams, chirps, squeaks, squeals and shrieks. All in time and in key! Ann was a supreme vocalist. Grace is a kick-ass, take-no-prisoners, leave-it-all-on-stage, PERFORMER. She would wring the necks off chickens if she had to.

@Maumeelco Come on now, I think someone is drunk on a nice pair of legs. Grace is really only playing some filler chords - nothing earth-shattering here, B3-wise. I saw Ann do Sweet Darling by herself with a grand piano. I honestly think that would be a great challenge for Grace, as good as she is. Also, the fact that Ann never wanted to be a sex symbol is a plus, not a minus. Grace plays up her sex appeal, which is her prerogative, in spite of the dancing taking her vocals down a notch or two.

Almost no one touches Ann's vocals (tho Gretchen Wilson has done some excellent live covers---very similar voice)
