Spent last couple of months fishing on the Sunshine Skyway Pier near St.Petersburg, Florida. Had an occasional break-off on heavy tackle. Wondering if these boys had anything to do with that? These brutes are the "small ones" probably 100-200lbs. Did not get to see the 500 pounders that are known to hang out there...but I'll settle for a 'small' one. Took advantage of a slackwater period between tides, but remaining currents still made it challenging to keep camera positioned most of the time.
@Rimmerboys. Whatever you decide to use when you go in September, feel free to send me a link to anything you end up recording. I'd love to see if you find them groupers, tarpon or whatever else swims down there. Take it easy. :)

@Rimmerboys. Thanks for watching. The equipment I used was a MarCum VS380 Underwater Camera and in order to digitally record what I was seeing on it I used an Aiptek A-HD+ 1080P High Definition Camcorder, there aren't many camcorders out there that have the capability of recording from an outside source and this one does a decent job for a fair price. There are other digital recording devices out there, but few of them have a display to monitor and play back and review the recorded footage.

Hi mate, I'm liking the under water skyway vids as I fish there every year. One question tho, what camera are you using as I want to get one for when I go in september
