WARNING video contains cruelty towards animals

This video is from the danish newspaper Ekstrabladet.

It contains footage of danish production of mink- and foxfur recorded by animalrights activists, Anima, and journalists. It shows the horrible conditions that animals in the fur production in Denmark is living in.

Before these recording were aired on danish television on the 27 of october the danish fur industry, represented by Kopenhagen Fur, tried to stop the footage from being published by appealing for an injunction.

They even made a homepage where they told the public, that the recordings were manipulated. Unfortunately for the fur industry the evidence in the film was overwhelming, and all they're saying now is "we're very sorry", they can do nothing else.

Watch for yourself.

Please stop buying danish fur.

if people stop buying danish fur, and the production of mink fur will fall or stop completely, will the production of fur in china rise.. do you rather see dog,cats,fox's,rabbits etc. suffer under terribly conditions and even get skinned alive.... ??

Fur production in China is disgusting. But it doesn't make it right here.

Also, it's true in china its horrible that they skin dogs alive (and other animals..), boil cats alive etc etc.

But it doesnt make it right to mistreat other animals ''less cruel'', because any mistreating of animals or human beeings are wrong, no matter what grade the offence is.

If even one little animal is tortured or mistreated, it is wrong enough. Personally I consider it disgusting, barbaric and poor taste to torture and kill an animal to satisfy someone´s vanity. I´m not a vegan or a peta extremist, I eat meat, but it is one thing to slaughter an animal in order to feed people which otherwise will starve, and quite another to do it for the sake of vanity of rich bimbos who could perfectly buy synthetic.

Your all so sure of yourselves, however I'd like to point out that extrabladet is considered an unserious tabloid here in denmark. And I assume they have their reasons for not pointing out their third part source whom distributed these clips

100% commercial production and the danes have one of the best control's globally: The farmers take a 4 year education in order to simply handle the creatures alone, further monthly & yearly visits by a vet, nightly visits by the police and Rejseholdet
