These are my three failed attempts at breaking the previous record for the worlds largest 3D domino pyramid.

These 3 attempts took about 27 hours combined, spread over several days.

I had set the previous record for largest completed 3D pyramid (10,725 dominos with a 25x25 base) back in February 2010.

Since then several have surpassed the amount of dominos used in attempts at 27x27 (Using proper larger Domino Day sized stones), but have come just short of forming their completed pyramids.
