  • Brilliant, how many nights I listen this song and suffer for just being me and stayed so far from home. This steel guitar cut´s my heart and blow my mind, I love it.

  • Nice comment, thanks

  • This is the first time I've heard the original. I got to this song via Richard Shindell and covered the cover with Winbush. Love the pedal steel work, adds a haunting quality which the song lends itself to, similar to the job Alex West's flute does on Mark Wilderspin's version.

  • JF told me he likes this clip for the same reasons as you. "It's how the song was meant to be played" were more or less his words. Plus it's one of only 2 clips of him playing with Eric Heywood. One of my top 5 songs of all time. Thanks for all the comments.

  • Brilliant - but is this X-Factor - why is she marking him?

  • Ha ha, very observant of you! A couple next to me had bought their (very well behaved) child along who was drawing something. This is a class above X factor thank you!

I'm going to see JF play again next week, I might try and post something afterwards.

  • This song just broke me in half and it's not even over.

  • PhilBe, What is the other clip that has Eric playing with him on it?

  • amazingly beautiful!

  • It doesent matter what anyone says it's about. Like any great song, the meaning is different for each of us.

  • As much as I know this wonderful song was written by Jeffrey Foucault himself.

I really don´t understand that review of ITunes!!!

  • This is an incredible song! Does anyone know who wrote it? On Apple ITunes there is a reviewer on there that says this song was the perfect response for the movie "Brokeback Mountain" Gosh I hope not!

  • nice :)

  • that steel player is smooooooth bud. i love that sound more than any instrument.
