I obviously dont check on this account often so sorry for the late reply. To me, ARC Pro software is the way to go, its sooo much easier with the software, without it most just wind up selling the units on eBay and hating life!

Hey everyone, Sorry I haven't answered any of the questions that were posted here. I created this account on a whim and then misplaced the username and password, which has just been found. So, I'll try and address whatever questions that have come in and I'll try and record some "worthwhile activity" on at least one of my scanners to post here. Meanwhile, happy listening.

I use the ARC 15PRO, its the ONLY way to enjoy these radios, without it your just looking at a pretty face! This soft ware really allows you to enjoy the full potential of this scanner. If you buy a BCT15 or a BCD996 YOU HAVE TO INCLUDE the ARC Pro soft ware in the order.
