i agree about the lack of difference between prostitution and pornography. it is legit the same thing. So I think in all fairness that it should be legalized *the irony in that is actually prostitutes practice safer sex than most people in the United States* I see Tax Dollars coming from regulating it which I think would be great for our economy and country. I also think regulating would decrease the amount of drug use in the profession. Seems like a win win.

I legit vote we legalize it. I mean, would it really HURT us any. Even if only half of the prostitutes did it the legal way then that's still half that's being regulated. Also, I'd rather go to a confirmed specialist in something than the guy down the street. Ya know? Haha. But if it's legal to pay people to have sex with eachother on tape... why is it illegal to pay someone to have sex with you? Hmmm.
The things I think about at night. Hahaha.
yeah..it's a good idea. if you could set up little sex shops around cities...in areas not a lot of children go and only open at night...with legal prostitution..it would kill the illegal prostitution like the walmart to a local convenience store. that stops stds from spreading..protects the girls from pimps..and just does a better job at rationally dealing with the oldest job on earth...it's never gonna go away...so just make it safe.

That's exactly what I started out telling myself. I just feel like there would still be some street prostitution. I'm sure that if it were regulated, drug tests would be administered. when a girl is caught with drugs in her system, she would lose her legal prostitution job, and then could potentially end up a street prostitute again.
But I completely understand that there could be many benefits.
thanks for the comment!
