if you ask me it gives you far greater control than traditional knobs

They're £300 if you wanna spend a fair bit just for lolz go for it. it's a more serious thing though. Look at maybe a Kaossilator or a mini Kp

I got the Korg DS-10 for the Nintendo DS. I have ZERO musical experience and after playing around with it for a few days, it becomes fun to use. So anyone who wants to make music who is thinking about it can use it for sure. I am thinking about getting a KP3 to add on to it.

The KP3 is a lot of fun, but sadly it does lack the control that traditional knobs have. Built in sampler, cool looking LEDs, and the large range of effects make it a keeper. The DS-10 is an incredible sequencer. No iphone app that I know of has yet to come close to how well it works. Makes a DS worth buying.

DS into mixer, and KP3 was used on an effect send from the mixer, than mixer output went into computer for recording. When I first recorded the KorgDS samples I had the DS directly connected to the KP3.
