Dune gooning at Currarong on the northern side of Jervis Bay. This was the last flight of the day, when the wind had dropped off so I just run down the dune and back. Has over 1km of soarable dune which works in a strong NE. Not sure if this is the first time it's been flown, does anybody know?

  • Wow just 10 min S of my place. will be going there next big E or NE'ly. Culburra beach has an awsome NE'ly (med size) Great ESE (small size) and good E'ly (big but dont get E'ly's that often) just north of there (where i live now). what wing were you flying?

  • Yeah its been flown on and off for decades with other sections further north, including Culburra as well.

Check out Kinghorne Head further north as the dunes are higher ........... or at least they were 10 years ago.

Some of the best NE dunes around ........ enjoy!
