@SleeplessRonin yeah I've heard that American Football is fairly popular in Germany there's actually a local Gridiron team where I'm from but it's the Canadian version for some reason which is weird because we only get NFL on TV. Aussie Rules is also played in other countries mostly Australasian Islands and small parts of Africa, I just meant that AFL hasn't really gone as global as soccer, like the NFL we wont be seeing any popular world cups any time soon... maybe one day we can only hope!

@thegreig American Rules football is played in other nations, just not too many. Germany has 12 teams and has their own German Bowl, Japan's X-League has 60 teams (don't ask me how) and plays for the Koshien Bowl (I wonder if its actually played in Koshien stadium)... and that's just the start.

@EnglishRuggers25 It's Australian Rules Football, it has an average crowd size of 30,000 (3rd highest in the world) but doesn't really exist outside Australia... bit like the situation with NFL in America.
