The World's Greatest Live Rock 'n' Roll Band and special guests Sheryl Crow (guitar, lead vocals) and Brian Mitchell (electric piano) present this beautiful cover of one of rock's true classics. I might be mistaken but I believe that this was the first time that the Allman Brothers ever played this most beautiful song!
"Can't Find My Way Home" was written by Steve Winwood and is the second song on side 1 of Blind Faith. Blind Faith is the self-titled album by the British supergroup Blind Faith, which consisted of Eric Clapton (The Yardbirds, Cream), Ginger Baker (Graham Bond Organisation, Cream), Steve Winwood (Spencer Davis Group, Traffic) and Ric Grech (Family). There was an intense buzz about the band and its debut album Blind Faith, which on release topped Billboard's Pop Albums chart in America (as it did the UK and Canadian charts).
They began to work out songs early in 1969, and in February and March the group was in London at Morgan Studios, preparing for the beginnings of basic tracks for their album, although the first few almost finished songs didn't show up until they were at Olympic Studios in April and May under the direction of producer Jimmy Miller. http://www.moogis.com

Band have been evicted from The Beacon Theatre by Madison Square Garden...may the Knicks & Rangers go 0-164 combined in the coming season...please boycott interloper Cirque de Soleil - there are lots of other great acts out there including Big Apple Circus and Blue Man Group, for example...
