When I was in high school, American Bandstand couldn't compare with the entertainment value of the Lloyd Thaxton Show! He was a tremendously funny guy and a great show host. Miss him greatly.

I would rush home everday from 5th or 6th grade to watch his show. Remember the on going skit he did with an album cover of the Brown's? Hilarious! Thanks for the memories, Lloyd.

He's such a card. You know, he asked for "help" from his fans to get the titles. Nobody but nobody could read them like Lloyd. I think this night meant a lot to him. Miss you Lloyd.
