Looks great!
is there any other option to use than a diamond point?
I didn't find it in my area and was wondering what to use instead!

@momanlandisdabest yes, sanding is possible with a 600 grit or higher and always make the sandpaper wet so it doesnt scratch as much. however.... it makes fine detail and shadow effects go away and thats obviously not what we want.
make the item you want to engrave smooth like a mirror before you start engraving either by wet sanding or use a steel brush on a power tool. if the item is in really bad condition you can have it sand blasted even.

incredible work!
any possible advice you can give me??? ive engraved soft metal but every time i finish, i have no idea how to smooth out the metal. ive tried sanding but that just scratches the metal making it look horrid...

@VincentBProductions its a normal dremel with an extension, the company dremel makes them. basically you hang up the dremel and use the extension to engrave

its a diamond tip, a regular metal one isnt hard enough to cut through glass.
its basically a metal ball with small industrial diamonds glued to it sort of.
they are pretty cheap, you can get them at a hardware store (here anyway)
