Cloud woke up with a headache. Looking over, he saw Zack, partly wondering why he was there...and partly knowing.
Cloud finally remembers and is shocked to find out what he did. Zack is speechless. Cloud asked what they did, just to make sure his memories weren't false. Zack concluded that they did do something...but it was an accident. A mistake. Zack said it meant nothing, even though that was a lie. Cloud thought he meant it, so he got upset, and thought about what had happened the night before. Cloud is embarrassed. Zack tells Cloud that they have a battle to go to later, and that silly emotions shouldn't get in the way of Cloud's fighting. Cloud leaves, without saying another word. As Cloud is leaving, his cellphone rings. It's Reno, a Turk that helps with SOLDIER missions. Reno tells Cloud to go to the secret Shinra Manor, Cloud leaves to go there without saying a word.
Cloud enters the bulding to find Reno. Cloud doesn't want to waste time, he's worried about Zack and wants to know where he is. Reno tells Cloud that he went to the battle...alone. Cloud figured out that Zack didn't mean what he said by what they did meaning nothing. Zack cared too much about Cloud that he didn't want him to get hurt. Cloud runs from the building straight to where he knew the battle would be. As he was running he gets shot by snypers, but still goes on, but weak. He faints after a while. While he is still asleep, Aerith, his old love, saves him and brings him back to life, because she knew that he moved on. Right when he wakes up, he keeps going, and finally finds Zack. But Zack is wounded and bloodied. Cloud is frightened, upset, mad. Least to say, he was emotional. As Zack is in pain and dying, he knows he has to tell Cloud his feelings. He tells Cloud that he loves him, like he always had. Soon after, Zack's gone, and all Cloud could do was cry and scream out, even though noone could hear him. Which was a good thing.
