beyonce and lady gag are idiots, but they have the power to bring this kind of music back. i'd actually respect women in modern, mainstream music if they put emotion into their songs. and had killer backup singers. and the music was actually played with instruments, and not created with computer programs from guitar center. what am i saying? new music is shitty on purpose to prove that the oldies are where it's at.

@ioxxd90 I didn't know of a second version but I see that this song exists on YT with a time indicated as 2:48. A 13 second discrepancy is more than simple slight delays in starts and endings and slightly faster speed due to turntable variance. They both sound great...she wails on the short "BrownPrideOldies" or something similar channel. And there's a 2:52 version on the tomovox YT channel...

The bass was so awesome in those rear speakers in your car back then, I only wanted to hear this song only if I was in a car with rear speakers so I could get the real effect of the that mean lowdown bass.
