BR Pacer Class 141 113 thrashes out of Butterley, MRC, 07-Feb-2009 - TrainBusJaguar. This preserved Class 141 Pacer is here seen thrashily departing Butterley with a 2-tone horn, at the Midland Railway Centre. There was also some clag but I just missed it unfortunately!

Filmed on February 7th, 2009.

  • i use to love going on that train from leeds

to harrogate back in the 90s. do the still run in leeds

  • Nah they've been withdrawn about 10 years ago. Most got exported (some to Iran), some got preserved (like this one). However 144's still run to Leeds, and they are similar! :-)

  • i went on that when it was paired up with a class 156 from emt. these units have great character!

  • Thanks!

  • You captured it very well, i would give it 15/10 if I could.

  • Thank you very much!

  • There was a un-powered prototype at the Research Centre in Derby.

I wonder what happened to that?

  • I still prefer the 101's

  • Is that body based on a Leyland National?

  • @mcmotor101

  • Great Video!

  • Some of the 141's were sold to the Iranian Railways
