  • Played by Lerner and Schavitz. Lerner was Tina Lerner the concert pianist and she married her husband who was a violinist. Can't rememebr his first name. This was one of the last Duo-Art classical rolls issued and was listed in the 1932 catalog. I feel that Tina Lerner played both parts of this and that is why on the roiginal roll and in the catalog it is listed as played by Lerner and Schavitz. No first names. Curious, but a great piece!

  • Would love to see a full performance of this work on YT. It's a startling work. I have it on vinyl by two Russians...cant remember their name. Fairly obscure work.

  • Can you tell me why the section I mentioned earlier is missing?

  • This is missing at least one rather large section of the work. At ~2:47 it completely bypasses one of the dramatic highpoints of the work. I stopped at that point. A pity

  • really like this vid! great piece, great piano, thnx!

  • Uuuuh huuh. Wow. Thanks, the're really cool, but I think Ill wait until I stumble across one at a garage sale or something.
