  • Amazing Video! with that kind of performance I was expecting to hear a roaring engine... but no, just a faint hum audible only to the driver. Is that a modified Ford Th!nk?

  • No it is original engine, batteries, tyres everything. Actually the car has now passed 162 000Km and is still going as good as ever.Only 6 out of 19 batterie modules has been changed ;-)

  • Cool, and it's how old?

  • August 2000 Can not wait to try the new one with more power and better roadholding yet ;-)

  • This is wrong. The new Think City is not a NEV. Top speed is set at 65 mph (to save the batteries) It has also passed american , and european, crash test. Its NCAP tested, although I am not sure how many stars it got. Greetings from Norway.

  • The Th!nk has not been subjected to US crash tests and there is no listing with EuroNCAP. The company apparently has run its own tests and claims to comply with US/European standards, but has not been run through the actual tests that give it certification and a rating.

  • ... What milo was pointing out was *IF* it can't meet the US crash tests (which are much tougher that european crash tests) then it could only be licensed as an NEV in the US. Good to hear it did.

The state of Washington is looking at a new cap and trade system. We will be seeing loads of these cars here soon.

  • Teslas are still about 4-8 times more expensive as average consumer is ready to pay for a car. And people are really not ready to drive motorcycles like the Carver.

  • Well of course he did he wants us to buy more gas hungry cars and parts, for when we have a brake break down. Man i hate GM and ford. So far the only EV cars that will probably stay is the ones made by tesla And that Carver car

  • Ford still has the most fossil fuel hungry fleet of cars in the US. In the same week it reversed the crushing decision, Ford CEO Bill Ford wrote a letter to California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger opposing a proposed law that would encourage purchases of the most fuel-efficient cars, increasing America's fuel economy to 45 mpg.

  • Although its top speed is 55, if the Th!nk cannot meet the crash standards, it can only be licensed as a neighborhood electric vehicle. The top speed in most states is only 25 mph now. However, NEV's top speeds have been raised to 35 mph in Washington and Montana. NEVs are taking off here in Washington since the law was changed this year.

  • Will this car Ever come state side at a mass production rate.

  • I see you found it, Nichen. The new model is scheduled for sale in October this year. See webpage think-dot-no

  • Excellent!!! Lovely little car. Why can´t people in Sweden buy these lovely cars from our Norwegian neighbors? Would be fantastic for both parts.
