"Dragon Skin" on display for cops

Cops these days are wearing bullet proof vests that The National Institute of Justice rates at threat level 3A, meaning, they vests are designed to defeat any and all handgun rounds, even some rifle rounds.

A vest that Pinnacle Armor, the maker of "Dragon Skin," outfits dozens of police officers with.
But just last August, that nearly came to an end.

Pinnacle has been fighting an upward battle ever since.

"We have a technology that's disruptive enough to where it will really upset the apple cart," says Murray Neal, CEO and President of Pinnacle Armor.

still illegal for the army...but as far as i know the CIA uses it to protect ViP the nsa uses it. blackwater mercanaries use it. But the billion dollar interceptor contracts wont let the supeior armor system take over. What an injustice of greed that so many lives can be saved by an advanced armor technology but arent.
